United Conference for Women recognizes that our younger generation faces serious challenges geared to distract and potentially destroy them.  We want to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him, and encourage those who are Christians to grow and be a light amongst their peers. We seek to equip our young ladies with the word of God to prepare them for the world we are in. In Luke 4:4, it says But Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written, 'We shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."

Girls Living on the Word (GLOW), the youth ministry of the United Conference for Women was launched in 2009. 

 

G.L.O.W. was developed to invest in the lives of young ladies 13-17 years old.  The leadership for this branch of UCW is composed of young adult women who are committed to impact this target age group, and they are committed to living a lifestyle that reflects Godly living on a daily basis. The staff is transparent and intentional in sharing their joy and hope in Jesus Christ. The sessions are designed to address the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of the young participants.
