Michelle Obleton
Michelle Obleton was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan.
She grew up in the inner city where she witnessed hopelessness
and many other painful situations within her community. Even as a young
girl Michelle felt a calling on her life to lead and
serve others. After receiving her Bachelors of Education she and
her husband left Michigan and attended Dallas Theological Seminary
in Dallas, Texas. After leaving Dallas they moved to Waukegan where
they presently live.
Michelle is the devoted wife of Dr.Winfred Obleton the senior
pastor of Waukegan Community Church. They have been married for
31 years, and have been serving God for 18 years in church ministry.
They have two teenage children, a son Shelby, 19, and a daughter
Andrea, 18.
Michelle’s ministry extends beyond the walls of Waukegan Community
Church into the Lake County community where she currently serves as
Chairman of the College of Lake County Advisory Board (Lake Shore
Campus). She also serves as President of the School Board for Lions
Math and Science Christian Academy.
Michelle is a writer, prominent speaker and teacher. She is the founder
of WINGS Ministries. WINGS is a growing women’s mentoring
program in Lake County reaching girls and women of all ages. WINGS
provides encouragement and spiritual enrichment, something much needed
in today’s society.
Joyce Harper
Pastor Joyce A. Harper is an anointed woman of God who entered the
Gospel ministry more than twenty five years ago.
Pastor Harper has ministered at Retreats, seminars, workshops and
women’s Day Services throughout the country. She is dedicated
ministering to lost humanity and to the Body of Christ. She has a
unique ministry to women.
Her personal theme is “The WORD Works” and the logo of her ministry is
the Butterfly which symbolizes the spiritual/natural metamorphosis
women must go through to become what God wants them to be. Pastor
Harper has a dynamic testimony and anointing to minister to women in
this process as she proclaims you are a Woman of Destiny. She knows and
teaches that as we magnify the Lord together, we can become People of
Excellence.
She is married to Elder Corneal Harper, Sr., Pastor of New
Beginnings Full Gospel Church of Chicago, where she serves as
Administrator and Pastor. She is the mother of three adult children,
the grandmother of ten grandchildren and the great grand mother of six.
