Lauren Horton

Lauren Horton has a passion for connecting with young ladies by offering spiritual guidance and encouragement.  Her grandfather, Willie Wilson of Grace Bible Chapel shared the plan of salvation with her and at the age of seven, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

She serves as Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School teacher and Praise team member at Bethany Pembroke Chapel of Detroit where she attends with her mother, Elise Wilson-Horton and her brother Jeremy.  Lauren has served as staff member and workshop facilitator for the United Assemblies of Detroit's annual winter and spring youth retreats.

Lauren graduated from Western Michigan University in April 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Human Resources Management concentration.  She is currently working full time as a Human Resources Associate while pursuing a Master of Divinity with a Ministry Leadership concentration at Moody Theological Seminary.  She is also taking Continuing Education courses through Moody Bible Institute to enrich her knowledge of the Word of God.

Lauren resides with her mother and brother in Canton, Michigan.  As she continues to mature in the Lord, Lauren's prayer is to share the Word of God to women and help them see their value in God's eyes.
